Lipec Rescue Center

Stories of animals from our rescue station

How we work?

The rescue station in Lipec has been operating since 2007. The founder of the station is Jan Kuchynka, who already had many years of experience thanks to his work in rescue stations and his breeding of birds of prey.

It was only in 2019 that it began operating as a non-profit organization. The construction of the station was made possible by the personal effort and funding of Jan Kuchynka, who built the premises on his own land, converting an old cowshed. Until now, it was sufficient to operate privately, but it has now become necessary to establish an association.

Today, thanks to small sponsors, a large part of the operating costs can be covered by donations. Of course, repairs, maintenance and further expansion require larger investments from own resources, but companies often help by offering discounts or donating building materials.

The station has to be constantly expanded, because around 70 animals were taken in in 2014, and by 2019 it was already over 300.

Many thanks go to all sponsors.

The center is not just about animals

But also about the people whose voluntary efforts keep it running.

Their only reward is the good feeling it brings.
